Sample Two-Day Washington DC Trip Itinerary

Day 1

Early morning departure from your school. 
On the way you may want to show movies with a Washington focus such as
     National Treasure and Night at the Smithsionian.
*First stop: George Washington’s Mt. Vernon.
*Next:  visit the Smithsonian Museums.
*Dinner this evening is via voucher at Union Station (most eateries in an historic setting)
*Illuminated Monuments Tour with a Local Step-on Guide. This tour will be customized for
     your interests.  At the very least, we recommend stops at The Lincoln Memorial, The White
     House, The Jefferson Memorial, 
and “The Stone of Hope” (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
     Memorial.
